CapSightReports / Company Dossiers

Everything on one company, in a document.

A dossier collects what CapSight holds on one company into a report you can send on: who it is, how large its India presence is, what it pays against its industry, what it is hiring for and which peers sit beside it. It is built from the same profile data as the product, across 2,500 companies, and it names what is not held.

A company profile: headcount, revenue and where it stands among peers
01/03The company's headline facts.
  • Scale, footprint, pay position and hiring in one document
  • Peers beside the company, like for like
  • Gaps stated, not estimated

Company Dossiers, in four parts.

Each part is something the product does today, with the data it uses named on the page.

The company in context

Industry, India headquarters, headcount band, setup period and global parent, with revenue and growth where reported.

Pay position

Median CTC against the company's industry and the market at the same band, and skill premiums where the company has them.

Hiring and workforce

Postings by function and city, and reported workforce by hub, to show what the centre is building.

Peers and news

The closest peers on industry and size, and recent expansion news and leadership moves for the company.

From a sentence to a finished report.

Reports draw on the same evidence as the rest of the platform, so a figure in a report matches the figure on the page it came from, and each one names where it comes from. The report is the last step of a decision, not a separate product.

Questions it answers

Ask the question the way you would ask a colleague.

These are the kinds of questions this page is built for. Each one is answered from the data on it, not from a general model of the market.

  1. Who is this company, and how large is its India presence?

  2. Is it paying above or below its industry for the same role and band?

  3. Which functions is it hiring for in Pune?

  4. Which peers should we benchmark it against?

  5. What has it announced in the last six months?

From first look to a decision you can show.

  1. Choose the company

Search or pick from a list.

  2. Choose the depth

    Snapshot, brief or deep dive.

  3. Generate

The dossier is assembled from the profile data.

  4. Send it on

Download the PDF or the PowerPoint.

Built for the people who own the decision.

  • Pay position and skill premiums for covered companies

The terms on this page, defined.

Every figure on a CapSight page comes with its definition, so you never have to guess what a number is counting.

GCC
A Global Capability Centre: a centre a company runs in India for its own global work, such as engineering, analytics, finance, operations or support. It is part of the company, not an outside vendor.
Platform Industry
The one industry grouping CapSight uses for every company, so a filter or a chart means the same thing on every page. There are 10.
Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities
Tier 1 is the eight established hubs: Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. Every other city is Tier 2.
Designed report
A report laid out as a finished document, with charts and a written read-out, that you can open, download and present, not a table export.
Company dossier
One company's profile set out as a report: who it is, how large its India presence is, how it is organised and how it pays.
Source line
The note under a figure that says where it comes from, so a number in a report can be traced back to the evidence behind it.

Before you ask.

What if the company has no pay data?

The dossier uses the industry and market benchmarks and says that company-level data is not held.

Can I add several companies?

Yes, as a peer comparison in a standard report.

Is the content editable?

PowerPoint exports are editable; PDFs are fixed.
