Turn the analysis into a report that gets read.
A decision is only as good as the document that carries it into the room. Describe the report in your own words and CapSight plans it from the evidence it holds, shows you the plan before anything is built, and then produces a designed, sourced report as a PDF, and as editable slides if you want them.

- A report from a sentence, planned before it is built
- Every figure on the page cites its basis
- PDF, and PowerPoint if you want it
The GCC list this page draws on.
Sample dataThe evidence a report draws on, in the product.
A screen from the product itself. The counts beside it are read from the platform directory.

- 35
- Indian cities with a centre
- 28

- 1,296
- companies with pay benchmarks
Brief the Board, in four parts.
Each part is something the product does today, with the data it uses named on the page.
Ask in your own words
Name a place, an industry or a company and the decision the report should support, such as an executive brief on hiring demand in Bengaluru for the leadership team.
A plan you approve first
CapSight shows the sections and the evidence it will use before it builds, so nothing is generated until you confirm.
A designed document
A cover, charts with read-outs, comparison tables and a summary, laid out as pages a board will read, not a dump of numbers.
Yours to keep and edit
Download the PDF, take an editable PowerPoint if you want to change it, and find every report you have made again later.
One market, twelve decisions.
The same list of GCCs, the same cities and the same pay benchmarks sit under every solution, so where to build, what to build, what to pay and whom to hire are answered from one set of facts that agree with each other.

What a report is made of
The same building blocks, arranged for the question you asked.
- 01
Cover and summary
The question, the answer in a few lines and what to do about it.
- 02
Evidence pages
Charts with a plain-words read-out beside each.
- 03
Comparison tables
Cities, companies or states side by side on the same measures.
- 04
Notes
Definitions, periods and the basis of every figure, so a reader can trust the page.
Ask the question the way you would ask a colleague.
These are the kinds of questions this page is built for. Each one is answered from the data on it, not from a general model of the market.
Where should a technology company build its first GCC: Hyderabad or Pune?
What does competitive intelligence on BFSI GCCs hiring in Pune look like?
Can I get the same report as editable slides?
Can my colleagues see the reports I make?
How long does a report take?
Can I improve my prompt before I generate it?
From first look to a decision you can show.
Describe it
Write the report in a sentence, or start from a suggestion.
Approve the plan
Read the sections and the evidence, and change the brief if it is not right.
Generate
The report is built and designed, and appears under your reports.
Share it
Download the PDF or the slides, and keep the report for your organisation if you want to.
Built for the people who own the decision.
Heads of GCCs reporting to a global board
A board-ready document from the evidence, in minutes and not days.
Strategy and finance teams
A sourced brief that stands up when questioned.
Consultants and advisers
A faster first draft they can edit and put their name to.
What is in it, and what is not yet.
We say plainly what the data holds today and what we are still adding, so nothing here is implied.
- Reports built from a written brief, with a plan to approve first
- Designed pages with charts, tables and read-outs
- PDF download, and editable PowerPoint
- A library of the reports you and your organisation have made
- More report types and layouts
The terms on this page, defined.
Every figure on a CapSight page comes with its definition, so you never have to guess what a number is counting.
- GCC
- A Global Capability Centre: a centre a company runs in India for its own global work, such as engineering, analytics, finance, operations or support. It is part of the company, not an outside vendor.
- Platform Industry
- The one industry grouping CapSight uses for every company, so a filter or a chart means the same thing on every page. There are 10.
- Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities
- Tier 1 is the eight established hubs: Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. Every other city is Tier 2.
- CTC
- Cost to company: the annual total an employer commits to one person, shown in lakh rupees. One lakh is 100,000.
- Percentile band (P25, P50, P75, P90)
- P50 is the median: half the people in the sample earn less. P25 and P75 mark the edges of the middle half, and P90 marks the top tenth. A pay figure is always read with its band.
- Build journey
- A documented account of how a comparable centre started: its first city, its first team and how it grew, with each figure cited to its source.
Before you ask.
Does it write the analysis?
The written analysis uses AI and says so on the page. Read it before you share it; the figures it cites come from the platform's data.
What if the evidence does not exist for my question?
The plan shows what is held and what is not, and a page with no data is left out, not filled with an estimate.
Who can see my report?
You, and your organisation if you choose to share it.
