Talent and pay evidence for a plan or a budget.
A talent and pay report brings hiring activity, annual pay and skill premiums for a defined set of roles onto the same pages. It is written for the people who approve headcount and set offers, so every figure names its band and its period and every gap is stated.

- Hiring activity and annual pay for the same roles
- Skill premiums with period, quality and cap marked
- Bands and periods named on every figure

Talent & Pay Reports, in four parts.
Each part is something the product does today, with the data it uses named on the page.
Hiring activity for the roles in scope
Postings by function, role and city, with the change against the previous period.
Annual pay by city and band
Median and percentile CTC for the role at the experience level you are hiring, across the cities in scope.
Skill premiums
The uplift the market pays for the skills that matter to your roles, with evidence quality and a clear marker where a figure is capped.
Findings you can use
A summary that says what the evidence supports and a closing page that names the next comparison to make.
From a sentence to a finished report.
Reports draw on the same evidence as the rest of the platform, so a figure in a report matches the figure on the page it came from, and each one names where it comes from. The report is the last step of a decision, not a separate product.

The rules every figure follows
Talent and pay reports follow the same reading rules as the product, so a number in a report matches the number on screen.
- 01
A median names its band
Experience is never averaged; 4 to 8 years is the default.
- 02
A widening is stated
If a slice has no benchmark, the report says it used a wider one.
- 03
A cap is marked
A skill premium at the published ceiling is shown as capped.
- 04
A gap is a gap
Data that is not held is listed under what the report did not cover.
- 05
A period is shown
Pay and skill figures carry the date they describe.
Ask the question the way you would ask a colleague.
These are the kinds of questions this page is built for. Each one is answered from the data on it, not from a general model of the market.
What will it cost to hire senior data engineers in Hyderabad and Pune?
Is hiring for AI roles accelerating relative to a quarter ago?
Which skills should we price a premium for?
Where is our pay position weakest against the industry?
What evidence can we put in front of finance for this headcount plan?

The terms on this page, defined.
Every figure on a CapSight page comes with its definition, so you never have to guess what a number is counting.
- GCC
- A Global Capability Centre: a centre a company runs in India for its own global work, such as engineering, analytics, finance, operations or support. It is part of the company, not an outside vendor.
- Platform Industry
- The one industry grouping CapSight uses for every company, so a filter or a chart means the same thing on every page. There are 10.
- Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities
- Tier 1 is the eight established hubs: Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. Every other city is Tier 2.
- Designed report
- A report laid out as a finished document, with charts and a written read-out, that you can open, download and present, not a table export.
- Company dossier
- One company's profile set out as a report: who it is, how large its India presence is, how it is organised and how it pays.
- Source line
- The note under a figure that says where it comes from, so a number in a report can be traced back to the evidence behind it.
Before you ask.
Can the report cover several roles?
Yes. Choose more than one role or capability in the plan.
What if our role has no benchmark?
The report uses the nearest wider cut and says so on the page.
Who sees the report?
Anyone in your organisation your admin gives access to; admins can read members' reports.
